Did you know that 500 metres in 49 seconds actually equals 36.7 kilometres per hour?  To find out how fast you are really going out there, why not check out the speed calculator at the Southern California Speed Skating Association site?



Learn to Skate

SpeedSkate PEI has a great 'Learn to Skate' program for skaters of all ages.  The focus is on developing general skills and techniques for beginner skaters no matter what type of skating they plan to pursue: hockey, ringette, speedskating, etc.
